Notice the relative height of the bar in these sequential photos of the Clean. In the first picture, John is fully extended at the top of the pull. The second photo was a fraction of a second later at the catch position. He has not pulled the bar up, but pulled his body under the bar. What is missing is the blurry photo of his trip down.
