CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program that excels in preparing you for the rigors of life outside of the gym. CrossFit Agoge is the most experienced CrossFit facility on the Western Slope delivering daily programming consisting of constantly varied common movement patterns. We strive to keep our programming fresh and challenging, but always tailored to the individual and their fitness abilities. There is a coach overseeing every class to ensure the safety and efficacy of each member’s workout, and to give a “push” to achieve the goal of intensity. We at CrossFit Agoge want to be part of your successful fitness journey, your achievements, and your community.
The Kids class approaches fitness through the lens of FUN, and ultimately hopes to foster a lifelong love of fitness. The skills addressed include most of CrossFit’s foundational and auxiliary movements, and the time frame accommodates the developing abilities of kids in grades K-5. The workouts are relatively short in duration, with more of an emphasis of the development of proper movement mechanics.
The goal of the CrossFit Kids program is to develop and improve general physical fitness in order to prepare kids to be safe in sports (and life in general).
Our Teens and Pre-teens programs transition from a simple focus of fun to broader goals: building and developing athletic performance, intensity, character, and peer support. The workouts are longer and more challenging than Kids class, the skills become more technical, and the mechanics are refined under the watchful guidance of our trainers. The variety of programming lessens the likelihood of overuse injuries, common in many training routines and year-round sports.
