Hey Families! Here’s a Kids version of todays Adult WOD.
Run 400 m
Then Mixed Tabata. Have child choose 8 movements ahead of time that they will do for 20 seconds each and rest 10 seconds in between.
Ideas: Push ups, squats, burpees, sit ups, lunges, jumping jacks, tuck jumps, jump rope, bear crawl, crab walk, box step ups, deadlifts, cleans, presses, t push ups, grapevine, side shuffle, thrusters. Allow them to choose which movements they will enjoy. They can work beside you during your tabata but make sure they have written down which movements they are doing so they can do them without checking with you.
Build Relay: Set up some household items in a specific way. Make sure you pay attention to exactly how the items are arranged. ‘Use only 6-8 items as to not overwhelm. Have them take a piece at a time to the other side of the yard and try to construct the structure exactly as you had it built! (Make sure all items are safe for child to carry across yard)
