It has been an exciting first three weeks back at the gym!
We appreciate your continued patience and understanding with the additional steps and protocols we need to have in place to keep our gym as safe a place as possible for you and all of our members.
We are aware that some of you are starting to travel. We see hope in that possibility. However, it means we need to add an additional layer of security.
We are adding the following to the questions you are asked when you check in to each class: “Have you traveled outside of our immediate area in the last 14 days?” We understand that some of you work in neighboring communities and that is okay. We are thrilled that so many of you are going out into the mountains and rivers to play. But if you go to another place (Vail, Denver, another state, etc), please call Kelly (9702094068) so we can chat about it before you come back in to a class. If you were careful about social distancing, etc, and do not introduce significant risk, you will be able to continue coming to classes uninterrupted. If you, perhaps through no fault of your own, were in a situation where you were directly exposed to others in that remote location, we ask that you stay home for a few days and monitor symptoms before returning to class. This policy applies to all gym members and staff universally and is in place for your protection until further notice.
Additionally, if you are required to take a COVID test due to potential exposure, please do not return to the gym until you have a negative test result. If you have been in the gym since the potential exposure, we respectfully ask that you let us know when you receive your results. This, again, is something we must do to protect our community.
We are very fortunate to have the privilege of being open again. In many places around this country and the rest of the world, there is no opportunity for this. We must do everything in our power to ensure that we do it as safely as possible.
