Warm up:

Whistle Drill: Every time the whistle blows (or trainer calls “switch”), switch to the other movement in the pairing.

Crab Walk & Bear Crawl
Squat thrusts & Tuck Jumps
Push ups & Sit ups

Skill work:

Single Leg Reach: Athletes start out standing on one foot facing a tall box.  Without putting the foot down, reach forward and touch the box, then return to standing.  If it is easy, try moving back from the box or lowering it to increase the challenge.  Don’t forget to try it on the other foot as well!
