“Steve Says”: Set up a circle of cones in the middle of the room and kids start the game by running around the cones. At the call “FREEZE!”, everyone stops and then a location and movement are called out. The kids go to that location in the room and perform the stated repetitions of the movement. When they are done they resume running around the cones. Repeat as desired
Supine Toes to bar: Set a portable pull up bar 12-18 inches off the ground. Lay on your back with arms fully extended and gripping the bar. Bend knees if needed for a “hollow” spine position. Slowly, using momentum as little as possible curl hips and torso to bring toes to the bar. Lower legs back to the ground as slowly as possible while maintaining “hollow” spine position. Speed can be increased only if midline is stable and movement is controlled.
