Warm up:

Mixed Tabata

Skill work:

“Perfect” Deadlift Relay: Divide the group up into 2-3 teams and place two cones approximately 10m apart for each team.  One at a time, athletes run from one cone to the other and perform the very best Deadlift they are capable of using a lightweight kettlebell.  Trainer gives clearance for the athlete to return to his or her team.  If needed cues are provided to correct the movement until appropriate technique is demonstrated.


With a partner, complete as many rounds as possible of

Partner A:

5 Med ball Deadlifts

3 Med ball swings -> underhand throw to Partner B

Run 100m with Partner B carrying ball

Repeat and switch roles.
