So much of what we do in CrossFit, in Sports, and really in life (especially when you are a kid) is improved by proficiency in jumping skills. The ability to effectively stabilize and then explosively extend the hips and lower limbs crosses over into so many other skills and applications. This month in the CrossFit Kids and CrossFit Pre-K classes, as we work on Jumping in many different contexts and capacities, we will be hitting on just about all of the 10 General Physical Skills : Strength, Cardiorespiratory endurance, Stamina, Speed, Power, Coordination, Balance, Agility, & Accuracy. If we worked really hard, I bet we could find a way to fit Flexibility in there, too. Happy jumping!
