Warm up:
3 rounds
20 sec Squat thrusts
20 sec Lateral hops
20 sec Push ups
Skill work:
Musical Squats: Kids stand in a circle in a squat stance with their pinky toes in contact with the person standing on either side of them. While the music plays, pairs of kids take turns squatting with their “neighbor knees” touching. If the music stops while they are in the act of squatting, the pair moves to the outside of the circle and continues to squat while he music plays until the round is over. Hint: Its generally good to stop once you get to 4 kids left in the circle for personal space reasons 😉
