I just want to say “THANKS” to John & Kelly and all the trainer/coaches(Tegan, Kelli L, Sara N, Matt, & Jenae) that continually push me and hold me to high standards. I never got a “NO REP” in the entire competition and it wasn’t “soft” judging. We saw a handful of athletes not hit the full range of motion and the judges called them out. I also want to give “THANKS” to all the athletes at Crossfit Agoge for your support and encouragement. I love being part of our community in Montrose, Colorado. Not very many people had heard of Crossfit Agoge, but they do now! All the judges from Crossfit Stapleton were wide eyed when I finished that 3rd workout.
Chad:
We are merely facilitators. It is your honor and integrity that hold the standard that is set. One of my fondest CF Agoge moments is from the 2nd workout of the Open 3 years ago when you were semi conscious on the floor and you looked up and asked me “should it always feel like this?”
I know few of them know it, but I hope some day the children of Montrose who have had the privilege of being a student of yours reflect on the leadership that you have displayed with your whole being. So, on behalf of the entire training staff, I say “thank you.”
Chad, Congrats! you deserve the win you always push yourself and are willing to work harder than you want to! You are a great athlete!
9:05 PR today, and with an added bonus of getting my first three bar muscle ups today! Thanks to Tyler Wallace for the “peer” pressure to do my skill work! Goal number 1 accomplished!
