Mike Hild reaching as high as he can to keep active shoulders.
When Kelly and I travel, we get to see what each new gym and community does differently. While on our very quick jaunt around the world, I was able to pick up some really cool bits and pieces of knowledge that were posted for the whole gym to see and I will be sharing them periodically. The first one is from CrossFit Brisbane: “You are competing against yourself. Use the group to motivate your effort. The scoreboard is meant to inspire your BESTeffort, but it doesn’t mean anything.” I know that some of you have an issue with writing your name and time on the board, but remember, no one looks at the board and thinks “wow, that person is a turd!” We look at the board and think about how happy we are that YOU were there. We look at the board and think “wow, our little gym has grown so much.” And if we look at the board and don’t happen to see your name, then almost immediately we hope that everything is okay in your world and think that ours is a little less bright for not having you around that day. Cheers!
