Workout of the Day

Thursday, 26 July, 2012

In case you haven’t had the chance to see whats going on during the Weight Lifting Class lately…

Workout of the Day

Skill Work
Front Squat

WOD
“Lumber Jack Fran”
9-6-3 Reps for time of:
Log Thrusters
Bar Muscle Ups

  1. Adobe Brick.

36 min mountain bike ride(Elephant Ridge & Techno Ditch) and 22 min 5K run.

Lumber Jack Fran sounds fun too.

  2. 8:26, bar thrusters and red band bar MU. The log was too awkward for me to even attempt and I know I have the strength for BMU, just need to work on getting head/elbows around and loosening grip(which will allow for the elbows). Never thought I would say this, but the thrusters were the most fun of this WOD. :-p

  3. 6:17 #95 ‘normal’ thrusters (is there anything normal about that movement?), false grip ring pullups. those are the first #95 thrusters i’ve done in about 2 years since my shoulder started feeling very bad. happy to report no ill effects as of right now! except for being tired, the shoulder feels fine! yahoo!!

That pic could also be captioned: “Fit Ladies Lifting More than You!” well, more than me at least… Great job Jenae!

run in the woods this afternoon! 4×800m trail intervals!!! who’s with me?
