Way to go, Chad! You’re super fast! Nice job to Karen, too!
Morning WODs are hard! Seems like my body is fighting me the whole time!
WOD: 11:23, PR
I feel like it should of been faster since I haven’t done this benchmark since 2009. Next time, I’ll have to go in the afternoon!

Helen is one of those workouts that sticks out in my mind as one I would never want to do again. I remember pure misery when I did it last and I think my time says the same (21:47). However, on Saturday I passed a huge milestone in my cf successes and that is that it was the first time, ever, that I have been able to run, do movements, and run again without my back knotting/spasm’ing and having to walk the second “run” and then barely being able to do the movements after the second run. I left feeling such an amazing sense of excitement! So, when I saw “her” posted this morning I began to feel excited to see what my body will do with it today. My heart and mind are in every wod, but sometimes my body limitations are the issue. I can’t wait to find out if my body meets up with my heart and mind today! Woo hoo!

P.S. Thank you John for your continued commitment to get my body to a place that it has potential to meet my heart and mind!

11:43, 24s PR and a gash on my ankle and a jammed middle finger. Helen is just mean!

9:08 (#44 kb w ‘Russian’ swing, 24 DU). KB swing felt good, really have to focus in order to keep those shoulders back! DU’s were almost unbroked, another place where having those shoulders back was helpful! huh, common theme here…
Great job to all those doing it RX and all the huge PRs today! yahoo!!!
running at Cerise tomorrow afternoon…

That was tough. 13.46 or something modified heavily. I’m a mess but I’m having fun. Super shout to Julie for her RX.

“Helen” is ugly, and I don’t much like her. I had an 8 second improvement from Sept. 2011. Ditto what Ken said about Julie C. She did awesome. 4pm class is a blast.

Yes, it was SO cool to watch Julie complete Helen RX!!! Amazing work, Julie!!
As for me, I completed it in 17:43, which was great….but what was even better is that I didn’t have pain at any point of the wod!! Woo hoo!Watch out….this lady can do run/movement/run/movement wods now!! STOKED!
