Gio kipping effectively during last week’s Pull up/Lunge walk countdown reversal. Mastering the kip can be the difference between surviving a high rep Pull up WOD and defeating it.

Workout of the Day

3 Rounds for time of:
30 Toes to bar
20 Reps ground to overhead anyhow (95/ 65)

There will be a 15 minute time cap on this workout. In other words; if you are unable to complete all of the reps in 15 minutes, your score is the number of rounds plus the number of reps. Score the rope climbs separately.

Rest 30 Seconds and then complete as many rope climbs as possible in 5 minutes.

  1. That was an awesome workout!

    I finished in 12:56. I completed 93 reps by the Games cutoff of 7 minutes, the best score was 99 total reps. Granted, it was my only workout today and those guys were hammered by that point.

    I also completed 8 rope climbs in 5 minutes. Technique for rope climbs will now be something that everyone who wishes to compete in the CrossFit world will have to attend to. What an exciting thing to watch.
