  2. From the “Endless Ascent” article regarding Will Gadd’s 24 hour climb to raise money for the dZi Foundation completed at the Ouray Ice Festival last month: “The hollow thunk of the pick as it sinks into the ice. The concentration required for a sustained effort. The solitude and time for reflection when it’s just you and the ice. What do you think about as you climb? Could you keep your focus climbing vertical ice for 2 hours? Calves and forearms burning. 6 hours? Fingers and toes lose feeling. 12 hours straight? Dehydration and total exhaustion. 18 hours? Delirium sets in. 24 hours? (...I think to myself, if Gadd can complete this feat, I can do today’s CrossFit workout! Perhaps even with a bit more gusto, eh?) – Thanks for pointing out the article on the CrossFit.com website, John!

  3. Great post, Heather!

  4. 9:19 and 45# press. Reverse order due to timing and child care constraints.

Good job to the Agoge B-Ball team tonight. You guys played hard. Congrats Marty, on regaining your honor (and thanks for your help with the kiddos!)
